  1. She missed a bit. Tell her to put the kettle on when she’s finished, I’m parched!

  2. I hope this is a joke. On second thoughts, even as a joke, it is a bad joke!

    • Well that’s the point Gart. It’s well offside.

    • Most definitely a joke, albeit a very poor attempt at a joke, a joke all the same.

  3. Another bad joke:

Two bits of Tarmac are sitting in a pub.
All of a sudden a red bit of tarmac storms into the pub and orders his drink.
One of the bits of Tarmac looks at the other and says ‘ For gods sake don’t piss HIM off in fact, try not to even look him in the eye!’
    ‘Why?’ says the other.
    ‘He’s a cyclepath!’

    I know, I know…completely missed my vocation!

  4. Well I did want to create balance by telling you a joke my ultra feminist lovely sis in law once told me but I forgot the phrase so looked it up and lo and behold it turns out to be a cover of an old East German joke.

    Here is my sis-in-laws joke.

Q: What does a mans neck-tie and a cows tail have in common?

A: They both cover the arsehole.

(the east german joke replaced mad with “westerner”

another one I though hilarious was..

The teacher asks: “Fritzchen, what is the difference between capitalism and socialism?” Fritz replies: “Capitalism is the exploitation of man by man. Under socialism, it is the other way around.”

Back to the topic in hand, no place for sexism in todays society, it is just as abhorrent as racism and it very much is discrimination, we cannot pick and choose what the word “equality” means, I do feel there was some sort of tabloid sting though, for me I find it depressing that the media is entrapping people often through using the medium of booze. John Higgins immediately springs to mind.

    • Hopefully, much like most ‘isms’ it will die out with the older generation as it does seem to be very much a generational thing. I truly don’t believe very many people still think this way at all. Most if not all men I’ve know, know women to be are equals in every aspect except of course, bossiness which all the women in my life seem to excel at!

  5. Never mind Andy Gray’s best mate, Sian and her shopping….isn’t that William Hague holding the flag?

  6. D’ya know I think it is Nobbly! He’s trying to catch Ffion’s eye in the Royal box I think.

And isn’t that Martin Johnson in the middle, feeling those soccer shorts a bit tight around his knackers?

  7. …and isn’t that George Clooney off to the right, with his glasses on top of his head?

    Oh no, sorry. My mistake.

    • I happen to know that George would be deeply offended, not to say personally and spiritually wounded by such an ungenerous comparison.

Please Nobbly, otherwise I may have to pay a Saddleworth cabbie to do you in. I believe they come a pound to a guinea up there in the cobbled streets of Hovisland.

  8. Women who assume male roles deserve partners who are sensitive, caring and good-looking but most of those men already have boyfriends.
