I’m An Ex-Tory But Osborne’s Budget, The Rail Unions And No To Heathrow Could Get Me Back.
The budget is strategically brilliant. It makes reforms that are essential.
I think some people are going to suffer and I am particularly concerned about disabled people and students but I like this radicalism. It takes us in the right direction. It is political genius for the Conservative Party to introduce a higher minimum wage. All of Labour’s spokespeople are speechless.
I can agree with Boris that the Tube and GMB strike are vexatious and deliberately timed to coincide with the first Tory budget since 1996.
I also agree with Boris that London’s hub airport would be best sited in the Thames Estuary. We need this radicalism. It will create jobs and enormous wealth. The very idea that we should build another runway at Heathrow is, in my view, close to a war crime. It is a gross violation of humanity. It is disgusting that we should even contemplate subjecting a dense population to such violation.
So this Tory radicalism excites me. This sort of visionary, long-term politics is what Britain needs. Add a dash of liberal back in and we could be getting there.
Posh Boy Chav Dave And The ‘Effing Tories’.
Yesterday, on his ill judged, flying visit to Scotland, Cameron shed crocodile tears in panic about his destruction of the United Kingdom. He demeaned his office still further by using a thinly disguised obscenity, an appalling and shameful misjudgement. This fool is supposed to be the prime minster of our nation.
The truth about Dave and his cronies and their selfish, arrogant, disconnect from the majority of Britons is exemplified in the trashy new movie ‘The Riot Club’. It’s the Bullingdon Club of course, a depraved gang of posh yobboes who take alcohol, cannabis and cocaine to excess, smash up restaurants, abuse women and then sort it out by peeling a few fifties off Daddy’s wad. Key players: David Cameron, George Osborne, Boris Johnson plus assorted bankers and city conmen. The Independent sets out the roll of dishonour here.
This is why I and millions of others, previously confirmed Tory voters, will never again vote for what has become the Bullingdon Club Party. This is why Scotland should do the wise thing and skedaddle away from the UK ship that is sinking under the weight of corruption, cruelty and incompetence. Any government that is so far out of touch deserves to be brought down. That power now resides in the hands of people like Cameron, Osborne, Iain Duncan Smith, Theresa May and Chris Grayling should be all the warning we need.
Snooper’s Charter. This Is Why Americans Keep Their Guns.
Nick Clegg has caved in again. Norman Baker sat next to the most monstrous woman in British politics as she sneaked her snide subversion of our freedom through parliament. These people are ‘Liberal Democrats’?
It is all decided. There is nothing we can do. Parliament adjourns in less than a fortnight. There’s little your MP could do for you anyway, even if he or she had the balls to stand up against this railroading of fundamental changes to our rights. The leadership of the main parties have conspired to pervert our democracy to their own ends. In America they would be put on trial for treason. This is why Americans keep their guns. It is some protection against an overbearing state.
Meanwhile, in London, Boris Johnson’s water cannons have arrived. Julian Assange is still holed up in the Ecuador embassy. Edward Snowden, the great American hero is running for his life in Russia.
At least America has a constitution. British democracy is a sick joke. We have no control over our government. Elections are meaningless. Politicians are a self-serving, incestuous elite, part of the tripartite oligarchy with the Fleet Street Mafia and the bankers. We are the servants of the state. We can’t even determine the issues that the media and parliament consider. Their agenda and priorities are imposed on us. We can’t enact local medicinal cannabis laws as 23 states have in the US, where the people have instructed the government what to do. We can’t define the debate on education, the health service or foreign policy. We must just do what we’re told.
We let these people take our guns away from us – and we were foolish to do so. After the water cannons, what comes next?
Boris Johnson Dirty Tricks Against Ken Livingstone
Boris must be worried about Ken. In a snide, nasty and Soviet-style move, Boris’ team has enlisted a herd of tame bloggers to campaign against Ken’s assignment with Press TV.
Now of course, Press TV has very dodgy antecedents. It’s backed by the Iranian government and very probably subject to a degree of control by Allahshandjob and his theocratic Nazis. Inevitably the Zionists are up in arms, manipulating, bullying, bribing and coercing their friends into a disgraceful smear campaign against Ken. It’s really a battle of one Nazi ideology against another. I’m very surprised and deeply disappointed to see Boris getting involved.
It’s worth reading Press TV’s perspective on the issue in “Britain trying to halt Press TV”.’
The Mayor Of London’s office flatly refused to comment on this story. In fact they couldn’t put the phone down on me quickly enough. I can tell you though, with absolute certainty, that specific instructions went out from Boris’ office to round up his sheeple and get them all writing the same story – particularly to link the phrase “holocaust deniers” to Ken’s name as often as possible.
Any reasonable person condemns both the Iranian and Zionist regimes. They are both a force for evil and a threat to world peace. We should be encouraging their involvment in the media though, in the ebb and flow of news and information. That is the way towards a more honest, inclusive and peaceful world. The British media is often biased but we would be outraged if any part of it was subject to such a campaign of smear, innuendo and attempted gagging. This is a repressive, anti-democratic campaign. Boris should stop it immediately. It’s a mistake.
Journalists work for Fox News all the time and there’s no more despicable news organisation. Left and right wingers write for the Daily Mail every day, despite its legendary bias, misinformation and scandalmongering. Andrew Gilligan has worked for Press TV. Why shouldn’t Ken?
Probably the worst mistake I’ve ever seen Boris make. This sort of behaviour is beneath him and entirely unnecessary.
Let’s Put Dave The Taxman On The Dole
Who is this pompous, conceited, arrogant, Boris Johnson lookalike?
He’s Dave Hartnett, Permanent Secretary at Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs. He’s refusing to apologise for getting tax deductions wrong for six million British taxpayers.
Just who the hell does he think he is? We’re back to Sir Humphrey and lazy, fatcat incompetence and corruption again. You’d think the civil service would have managed to drag itself entirely out of the 19th century by now wouldn’t you? Not this prize plonker. Maybe because his overgrown schoolboy, pudding basin haircut is just as messy as Boris’ he thinks he’ll endear himself to the British public? Hogwash. He’s the very opposite of Boris. He represents everything that’s bad about Britain – self-satisfied, smug, deluded, living in the past.
I say let’s get him sacked. Let’s create the biggest outcry against a useless civil sevant that the country has ever seen. Let’s lose Mr Hartnett his job. Let’s put him in his place – in the queue at the Jobcentre. Then we’ll see who’s a cocky, scruffy, little git won’t we?
Where Have All The Poppies Gone?
I had the misfortune to have to visit London briefly last week. I was thoroughly disheartened to see how few people in Hammersmith were wearing poppies.
They should be ashamed of themselves. More worrying though was just how difficult it was to buy one. Hardly any of the shops had them available. Even those that we should be able to rely on to show a responsible lead like Tescos and Sainsburys are letting down our heroes. None of the staff are wearing them. What is going on? Weymouth and Dorchester are doing much better and the BBC appears to make it a compulsory requirement – and that’s no bad thing.
London is a miserable place full of miserable, selfish people and it reminds me again how I have no enthusiasm for ever returning there. Tired of London? Yes, tired of death.
“Why, Sir, you find no man, at all intellectual, who is willing to leave London. No, Sir, when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford.”
— Samuel Johnson, 1777
To someone living in 18th century Britain this famous quotation may have had some relevance After all, you could walk from the heart of the city into open countryside in little more than an hour.
Today, any man, with any intelligence, will spend only as little time in London as he has to, for today London is all about death.
The death of our children as they run wild, out of control, knifing, abusing and assaulting each other.
The death of liberty as we are watched and spied on relentlessly without proper cause by jobsworths and parasites.
The death of our culture as we have allowed minorities to create ghettoes that now overwhelm our indigenous communities.
The death of integrity as those who run our government and financial systems become ever more venal and corrupt.
Perhaps the only cause for hope in London is the bright light that is Boris Johnson. This apparent disinterest in the Poppy Appeal, this insult to our heroes really is the final straw for me. London has become a vile, oppressive hot bed of greed, violence and selfishness. I shall fiddle with delight while it burns.
