Incompetence Is Normal At The Home Office

with one comment

Theresa May

Theresa May and James Brokenshire must go.  The absolute disgrace, the shambles over Olympics security should see them both on the dole tomorrow.

Ms May is the most empty-headed minister I have known in my lifetime. Where she came from, why she has reached such high office, what skills or value she has brought to government is a mystery.

James Brokenshire

Brokenshire is the nastiest, most vicious and unpleasant junior minister ever. He’s an ex-banker and has held charge over the government’s delusional, head in the clouds drugs policy with exactly the arrogance and irresponsibility that suggests.  He sank to the nadir of his career when he claimed that the adulteration of street cocaine had reached record levels and this was a huge success.  This in the full knowledge that the Serious Organised Crime Agency records the adulterants used in cocaine are more harmful than cocaine itself.

If there is a war on drugs then Brokenshire is a war criminal.

Both of them are worse than useless.

False Accusations Of Racism Should Be A Criminal Offence

with 21 comments

John Terry

It’s a crime to use racist or homophobic abuse.  The concomitant of that should be that it is a crime falsely or maliciously to accuse someone of racism or homophobia.

I don’t know John Terry, and I have just about zero interest in football but I know what it’s like to be falsely accused of racism.  The scum of the earth that indulge in such abuse are exactly the same as those who falsely cry rape.  They should go to jail for just as long as the sentence for the crime they falsely allege.

I’ve had long term relationships with both black and asian women and I have lots of friends of all different races but it doesn’t matter what the facts are, if some oik chooses to endlessly repeat a false allegation of racism there is nothing you can do about it.  This is unjust and unfair.  If it’s a hate crime to be racist then it’s a hate crime falsely to accuse someone of racism.

The House of Parties

leave a comment »

Parties with our money, our goodwill, our trust and our faith in the promises they make.

That’s the way the political oligarchs want to turn our House of Lords. I recommend the Telegraph View.

In the disguise of reform, the coalition proposals, with the connivance of Tory, LibDem and Labour politicians, seek to convert the second chamber into a party-driven sham which they can quickly abolish as an anachronism and unnecessary.  They will call it a cost saving measure.  Then the oligarchs will have triumphed completely.

I agree that the House of Lords makes no sense on paper but on the evidence, on its record, thank God we have it.  The intelligence, disrespect of convention, boldness and inspiration that it demonstrates puts the Commons to shame.

Look at the intelligence, zeal and wisdom demonstrated in the Lords about cannabis and drugs issues as compared to the Commons.  Independent conscience and opinion gets much closer to the truth.

The House Of Lords proposals are a put up job which will give more power to the main political parties.  They are profoundly undemocratic and should be resisted at all costs.

Banker Robbers Must Go To Jail

with one comment

Bob Diamond, Chief Executive, Barclays

Go directly to jail.  Do not pass go.  Do not collect any bonus, not even a toothbrush.

Five years minimum plus a £10 million fine please.

Then we might be able to say that we’re just beginning to redress the balance.

David Cameron Is A Bully

with 3 comments

A spoilt, incompetent, rude, hypocritical posh boy.

(Cameron, that is)

Although Jimmy Carr doesn’t come out of this smelling of roses, he’s definitely the victim and it’s a massively clumsy mistake by Cameron.

When is our despicable, third form sneak going to talk about the morality of Goldman Sachs or Barclays?

God Save The Queen!

with 3 comments

I think the Queen is a wonderful woman who deserves enormous respect. Disrespect her and you disrespect the whole of Britain. The Royal Family is an excellent institution that is fantastic value for money as well as having proved itself to be the most effective head of state in the world.

I’d like someone to point out a better model for government than ours.

It’s far, far from perfect but I see nothing better anywhere else.

Look at the US, even with a written constitution and elected President who’s obviously a pretty cool guy as an individual, Guantanamo is still open, the DEA and CIA are international gangsters, corruption, mass incarceration and human rights abuse prevail.

No one is a fiercer critic of our government than me but there’s no better alternative anywhere that I see.

Crimewatch On Prohibition

with one comment

It’s not my favourite programme.  It’s the BBC doing tabloid exploitation and sensationalising crime.  Since Fiona Bruce was kicked off for being “too old” it’s lost all semblance of any dignity.  I  watched it tonight though and was struck how three out of four of the vile. disgusting crimes featured were all, quite obviously, the product of  prohibition.

The first two were characterised by levels of risk or violence totally out or proportion to the potential gain – crack or smack heads in  need of a fix or a pipe.  The third was clearly a punishment attack over drug debts.

These evil crimes are the product of government policy.  I make no apology nor claim any excuse for the scumbags that committed them but if prohibition was ended, the criminal markets were undercut , then there would be no motive for such evil.  Those few that wished to destroy their lives could do so without being forced into crime against  those innocents who choose a more productive and decent life.

It is the most absurd idiocy of modern government that this moral retribution against those who err is the cause of most crime in our society.

Is it not time that we opened our eyes and employed a touch of common sense?

Ol’ Tone Sets The Standard

with 4 comments

I’m certainly no Labour party supporter and I don’t believe ol’ Tone is a perfect human being but he makes Cameron, Osborne and Clegg look like the useless muppets they really are.

Tony Blair is a class act and British politics is diminished by his absence.
