Legalization Oregon

Overnight, voters in Alaska, Oregon and Washington DC have voted to legalise cannabis for recreational use.

legalize dcThe US island territory of Guam approved a ballot to legalise medicinal cannabis  and Florida also voted for medicinal cannabis by 58% but it failed as a 60% vote is required. All over the US, smaller jurisdictions, counties, cities and towns, have also passed legislation on medicinal cannabis and decrimnalisation.

Last week in Britain we saw the shameful spectacle of just 21 MPs turning up to debate drugs policy for the first time in a generation.  David Cameron, Theresa May and the Westminster elite are arrogant, out of touch and detached both from scientific evidence and public opinion.

Authoritarian, Illiberal, Out Of Touch.

Authoritarian, Illiberal, Out Of Touch.

Nothing can excuse this failure of our democracy.  Britain is a laughing stock both in Europe and to the Americans.  We are regressing into a caricature of Dickensian history.  Little more than an ‘Old Curiosity Shoppe’ for tourists and the nostalgic.  Our government is concerned only with vested interests, politicians  lining their own pockets and an increasingly authoritarian and illiberal regime. These developments are humiliating for all those who cherish what was once Great Britain.  Surely, even those unconcerned or opposed to cannabis legalisation, must begin to realise that Westminster is destroying our country from within. On this,  the anniversary of Guy Fawkes’ failed attempt to blow up Parliament, who can doubt that he had the right idea?

Gang Abuse Of Individuals. Shame On Britain.

Lord Freud

Lord Freud

This Time It’s Politicians, The Media AND The Twitterati.

It is like bees to honey, more like flies to a corpse. A reasonable proposal, taken out of context, not really even a slip of the tongue, just deliberate distortion by a nasty side of Britain that sickens me.

Lord Freud Has Nothing To Apologise For.

It is reasonable, intelligent and compassionate to suggest that disabled people might benefit from work in which they could not justify payment of the minimum wage but which the state could top-up to that level.

The abuse levelled at this man by attention-seeking politicians, opportunistic disability rights campaigners and other parasites is disgusting.  It seems any excuse is good enough now to target individuals.

Jim Davidson, Dave Lee Travis, Brooks Newmark, Lord Freud – all far from perfect, unlike those who criticise them of course.  All undeserving of such focused abuse.

This is an aggressive, spiteful side of Britain in 2014 which I really don’t like.

Vote ‘YES’ Scotland!

with one comment

scottish piper

If all the people, politicians, institutions, banks and monopoly businesses who are responsible for the terrible injustices and inequalities in our society are so desperate for a ‘NO’ vote, what should that tell you?

That Cameron, all his disgusting, self-serving cronies, Miliband and Clegg are terrified, scared and panicking, what should that tell you?

When all the members of the Fleet Street Mafia: dishonest, manipulative, gutter press editors and seedy proprietors want Scotland to vote ‘NO’, what should that tell you?

When the UK parliament does all it can to prolong the sick perversion of democracy  that is Britain in the EU, what should that tell you?

Please vote ‘YES’ Scotland!

Why I’d Be Voting Yes If I Lived In Scotland.

Yes-PA

I think it will be a tragedy of immeasurable proportions if Scotland becomes an independent nation.  As a proud Briton, I am first and foremost a Welshman but Britain is a great nation and I would not argue for independence for Wales.

The Scottish referendum though offers an opportunity which must not be missed.  The corrupt, out of touch Westminster elite must be brought down. This is a chance that we may not have again. The alternative of guillotines in Parliament Square is tempting but unlikely.

Cameron, Miliband and the exclusive tribe of privately educated, independently wealthy politicians have seized this country for themselves.  They have conspired with bankers and the Fleet Street Mafia to create an oligarchy which deprives the people of any real or effective say in our nation.  Together they set the news agenda and control what we say, do and think.

They enact policies that suit them irrespective of public opinion.  They deny science and evidence at a whim.  They deceive and misinform as a matter of course.  When it suits them they use the modest threat of international terrorism to terrorise and subjugate us.  They are traitors to Britain.  The United Kingdom has become their vehicle for repression, oppression and an ever expanding state that keeps the proletariat under control.

So, it would be with great regret that I would vote ‘Yes’ to Scottish independence.  Not that I want to split Britain up but I see no other way of rolling back the self-serving, authoritarian enemy that has destroyed our democracy and taken control of both Parliament and Whitehall.

LibDem MP David Ward Is 100% Right. I Too Would Be Firing Rockets If I Lived In Gaza.

Nadhim Zahawi, Zionist Appeaser

Nadhim Zahawi, Zionist Appeaser

The despicable Israeli regime deserves everything it gets.  There is no excuse for its conduct and the shameful appeasement of these tyrants by David Cameron and his stooge Nadhim Zahawi is beneath contempt.

David Ward MP

David Ward MP

The rockets are fired in self defence against an illegal occupying power. Israel has no excuse. It is the aggressor. If I was in Gaza, like any patriot, I would be seeking out any weapon I could find to launch against the oppressors.

Cameron, Zahawi and their ilk disgust me. These are not British men. They are spineless opportunists and self serving traitors to the honour of Britain.

Israel must be stopped.  Anyone who resiles from that is complicit in war crimes.  Zahawi is a disgrace to Britain, his party, his race and the whole of humanity, offering support to Cameron’s manouvering and deceit.

Well done David Ward.  You are a rare breed amongst MPs,  a man of courage and integrity.

The BBC Has Lost Its Right To Be Britain’s National Broadcaster.

London, 19th July 2014. Ignored by the BBC.

London, 19th July 2014. Ignored by the BBC.

The pro-Israel bias 0f the BBC continues. It has clearly been stung by the massive outcry at its appalling reporting and it has improved some coverage but it is completely blanking the massive protests today in London and other British cities.

The BBC has lost its right to the licence fee.  It can no longer be our national broadcaster  All the good work that it does is extinguished by this disgraceful episode.

While the children of Gaza are murdered by the Nazionist war criminals, the BBC fat cats simper and supplicate to the monstrous pariah state that is Israel. They have betrayed Britain. James Harding and Tony Hall must go.

When Israel Attacked The Gaza Convoy We Did Nothing. Now See The Result.

The world, NATO, the USA, Europe but most of all Britain should hang its head in shame.  We are disgraced, complicit and culpable.

Our  appeasement of Israel is disgusting and we have only ourselves to blame.  The blood of Palestinian children is on the hands of those in Whitehall and Westminster who surrendered to zionism.

As I wrote four years ago, ‘Send British Troops To Gaza. Nazi Israel Must Be Stopped‘. We did nothing and we have done nothing since except appease the tyrannical zionists.

Britain must act now. We must never, ever forget how our so-called leaders have behaved.  They are not to be trusted or relied on.  They are traitors to humanity.

Let’s Get The Dealers Off The Streets!

Cannabis Is Not A Controlled Drug

Present policy abandons control to organised crime and street dealers.

If cannabis were properly controlled, it would be taken out of the hands of criminals. Growing, importing, distributing and retailing would become legitimate businesses, subject to proper control and regulation.

What Proper Control Would Mean

  • Regulated sales: licensed retailers, labelling of THC/CBD ratio, other ingredients, weight
  • Quality control: elimination of pesticide and fertiliser residues, bulking agents, impurities
  • Regulated commercial production, reasonable limits on domestic cultivation
  • Protecting the vulnerable: age limit, ID check, harm reduction information

We Need CLEAR Common Sense About Cannabis.

The ‘Arthur Scargill’ Approach To Cannabis Law Reform Doesn’t Work.

with one comment

Arthur Scargill addressing mining industry workers in London.

“Anything less than 100% capitulation on the part of the authorities is unacceptable!

Stand together in solidarity brothers. We’ll fight them in the parks, in the streets, we will never surrender!

We’ll smoke cannabis where we want, when we want and we don’t give a damn who it upsets – ‘cos it’s our rights brothers, it’s our rights!

We’ll show ’em, If we keep defying them, keep showing we don’t care what they think, keep on smoking – WE WILL PREVAIL!”

It’s the hopeless, hapless politics of the school playground.  It doesn’t work.  It’s about defiance, civil disobedience, selfishness and bull-headed obstinacy, always with a simmering undercurrent of aggression and violence. The ‘angry stoner’ is becoming a cliche that is causing immense damage to our campaign.

Progress will be made and is actually being made in small steps by patient negotiation, compromise and hard work.  That’s real work that’s often boring, tedious and has none of the appeal of marching in the streets or sitting round in the park with your mates getting stoned.  This is what has created reform, firstly for medical marijuana in California, now 19 other US states and most recently  a genuine revolution in in Colorado, Washington and Uruguay.  These developments have been achieved despite the demos, not because of them.  Exactly the same is happening in Britain.

Legally prescribed, legally dispensed, legally imported medicinal cannabis is now in Britain.  The greatest progress in the cannabis campaign since the Dangerous Drugs Act 1925 was enacted.

Anti-Thatcher Scum Define The Problem with Britain

with 21 comments

Margaret-ThatcherIf you disagree with Margaret Thatcher that’s fine.  She, more than anyone, would have defended your right to do so.

The pitiful, rude and incontinent abuse of her shows exactly why we are so much poorer for her passing.

Britain has become the epitome of sophistry, where gossip and oppressive opinion dominate and diminish our discourse.

It is encouraged by tabloid journalism and broadcasting.   Our attention is always diverted by sensation.   What we miss from Margaret is the ability to focus on a goal.  Ever more we are concerned and trapped  by the midfield battle.  In fact, Premier League football is the perfect analogy – corrupt, depraved, greedy, self-serving, manipulative.

The disgusting behaviour of those who demean the dead says it all.  To those who have posted abuse of Margaret Thatcher here (deleted)  and who pursue their playground bullying, good day to you. Are you proud?

We, the pride of Britain, are very proud of Maggie.
