Killer Cop Harwood Must Be Charged
The only even half-excuse that Keir Starmer, the DPP, had for not charging PC Simon Harwood over the death of Ian Tomlinson was disagreement among pathologists. As it was, he should have allowed a jury to determine which pathologist to believe. Now, Dr Freddy Patel, who wasn’t even qualified to carry out the post mortem in the first place, has been found guilty of misconduct by the General Medical Council.
Richard Davies, chairman of the GMC panel said in relation to another case that Patel should not have set aside his “professional judgement for any of the parties involved during or after a post-mortem examination for reasons of expediency or anything else”. Patel’s credibility is therefore shot to pieces. No jury could choose to believe him in the Tomlinson case, particularly when the other two pathologists were both agreed on their diagnosis.
There is therefore no reason now not to charge Harwood and there must be a better than even chance of his conviction for manslaughter.
Starmer has a chance to try to rescue his reputation. He should grab it with both hands immediately.
Ian Tomlinson’s Death Puts the Final Nail In the Coffin Of British Justice
Keir Starmer’s decision not to prosecute PC Simon Harwood, who clearly assaulted Ian Tomlinson at the G20 protest, while concealing his identity, is an outrageous scandal. It is perhaps the most shameful episode ever in the history of British justice, a system which has long held a much higher opinion of itself than it ever deserved. Today it is proved to be utterly useless and Starmer’s conduct proves him to be both incompetent and entirely unsuitable for his responsibility.
Starmer’s weasel words in his statement are truly pathetic and demonstrate weakness, a complete inability to see beyond legalese to the truth and are a clarion call for his dismissal.
We the people of Great Britain care not one jot for the disagreement between medical experts. We want this matter put before a jury.
We want PC Simon Harwood’s head. He is a murderer.
We want Keir Starmer’s head. He is an apologist for police brutality and an incompetent Director of Public Prosecutions.
Smellie Not Guilty Verdict Stinks
No! No! No! I do not believe it! This has to be one of the greatest travesties of justice ever inflicted on the British people. Sergeant Delroy Smellie who beat Nicola Fisher with the back of his hand and his baton at the G20 protest has been acquitted of assault. This is an outrage, a bad and sad day for Britain. The man is a bully, a brute and a liar. He is a violent criminal who should go to jail for at least two years.
We all saw it, in full colour on our television screens. The man is an unmitigated thug. There can be no doubt in the mind of any reasonable person. The video evidence is entirely conclusive. The excuses put forward in his defence are manifest nonsense. District Judge Daphne Wickham who made this disgraceful decision is either corrupt or dumb. Her ruling flies in the face of common sense, reason and fairness. Her comments as detailed here are absurd. We should not stand for this. There should be protest on the streets, questions in the House and an immediate appeal against the verdict.
So, on the same day that guilty verdicts were delivered in the first trial without a jury for 350 years, we see the true colours of our increasingly cowardly and politically controlled judicial system. British justice is a laughing stock. It has no value any more, at all.
All the decent and honourable police officers out there must realise that this decision damages them beyond repair. Who will stand up for justice now? Who can we trust?
Why Are We Waiting?
What are they up to? The robbery has taken place, much of it caught on CCTV. They were called weeks ago. Are they just sitting on their backsides finishing their tea? Maybe their sluggish response is due to flat feet or learning difficulties? We, the victims, are still waiting. Meanwhile the crooks are desperately trying to cover up the evidence, even returning some of what they have stolen, cooking their books, arm twisting the judges, launching PR and propaganda campaigns to distort the truth.
Where are the police? Are we back in the day when the village bobby cowtows to the local squire, tugs his forelock and turns a blind eye?
Perhaps they’re being held back by corrupt senior officers, or their lawyers are fiddling while Rome burns and they’re too scared to uphold the law?
Each and every Chief Constable in the country should by now have launched an investigation into his or her local MPs. Sir Paul Stephenson of the Met, supposedly went into a meeting with the CPS about a fortnight ago. What the hell are they up to? There’s much more urgency when a hungry single mother steals food for her children from Sainsburys. The sirens blare out quickly enough then!
This is a disgraceful state of affairs and the police are letting us down. This must be more work for the Independent Police Complaints Commission or are we left with no option but to turn to Batman and Robin? Who else will stand up for justice?
Meanwhile, Mrs Patel is up before the beak in Harrow today under The Fraud Act 2006 for telling fibs about her address to get her child into a better school. See the story here
This is the state of justice in Britain today.
