Get This Man Out Of My Country NOW!

Pointless Pompous Pontification

He is a monster, a walking, talking blasphemy and perversion of the whole idea of God.

He is not welcome.

He is not wanted.

Throw him out and kick him in the backside so that he sprawls in the gutter as he goes.

What Else Could £12 Million Buy?

with 5 comments

Irrelevant

Apparently, excluding policing costs (!), it’s going to cost Britain £12 million for the Pope to come here.  Now what else could we spend that on to better effect?

There must be at least twelve million answers to that question.  It is an absurdity, an anachronism, a throwback to an earlier, superstitious age when the masses were controlled by their fear of some nonsensical, supernatural power.

Pope Katzinger, ex-Hitler youth member and embodiment of the ultimate hypocritical idolatry and perversion of God, is not worthy of admittance to our country, let alone such expense.

I’m not sure that the Vatican state is part of the EU so do we have to let him in?  I suppose he will produce a German or Italian passport if necessary.  I would want to see it and ensure it is up to date.  Surely we could arrange a unilateral European arrest warrant or USA extradition request to get rid of him?  Now that would be a useful purpose for unjust and unfair legislation.

Pope Katzinger is not welcome.  That is a fact.  If we must adhere for a little longer to the idea of a church then we have our own.  The Pope’s has already been banned by royal decree and I hold much closer to the United Kingdom than to any kingdom of supernatural power, particularly one of such evil reputation.

If the head of the Catholic Church wishes to visit this country and meet with his congregation then, as a liberal and open society I suppose we must allow him to do so. We should not have to spare one penny from the care of our elderly, our sick or our needy for the pretensions of this old fool and his entourage.  Let them indulge their fairy tales, games and petty diversions at their own expense.

Facebook – It’s A Snide, Snide World

with 9 comments

I don’t know the name of the geek from Facebook who said that he wanted everyone on the planet to become a member of his website but he follows Adolf, Joseph, Benito, Francisco and other tyrants in having ambitions that must be thwarted at all costs.

Let me be clear, yes, you can find me on Facebook.  It’s true, with nearly half a billion members it is difficult to ignore it.  I use it to publicise this blog to as wide an audience as possible.  You can call me a hypocrite if you want but I don’t and won’t participate in the snide, puerile and thoroughly unhealthy relationships and lifestyle that it promotes.

Is This The Real Life Or Is It Just Fantasy?

If there are nearly a half a billion members on the site there must be at least a billion virtually identical photographs that consist of two or three faces (usually inane blondes at a party) pressed together cheek to cheek with vile grimaces or smiles.   If it’s supposed to be about individuals why does everyone look exactly the same, talk exactly the same and behave exactly the same?

There are now an extraordinary number of sad, dysfunctional people who live their life, vicariously and actually, on Facebook.  This, I believe, should be of great concern to all of us.  More than that, the site encourages behaviour that is dishonest, underhand and snide.  It’s not a force for good.  It’s a force for evil.  It’s a perversion and abuse of the internet, probably mankind’s greatest ever invention.

You know the sort of person who’d rather text than make a phone call?  It’s often very dishonest communication, the ideal way for a coward to make excuses, lie or deceive.  It’s said that 80% of communication is non-verbal and you certainly get a lot of that extra meaning over the phone.  You get none at all by text.  It’s just the bare, badly, carelessly or deceptively chosen words. Facebook goes even further, it encourages members to post messages and pictures so that they’re seen by third parties as well.  In fact, often the message or picture is posted mainly for their benefit, to embarass or annoy.  This is the real wickedness.  It’s already led to murders and countless, countless, arguments and disputes which have ended in violence.  Of course, it depends on you.   You or your friends can behave badly through any medium or face to face.  The point is Facebook encourages you to be snide.  It’s not nice.

I don’t know what the answer is.  I certainly wouldn’t be encouraging children to use it.  For many it’s already become a substitute for real life.  Its most well known deficiency is the way it makes you collect an ever greater quantity of friends with no regard whatsoever for quality.  My sons and all their real world friends have in excess of 1,000 Facebook friends.  I have 24 so that must make me – what?

There’s no doubt that there are business opportunities presented by Facebook. With that many members there’s bound to be.  In that context it’s not surprising that Cheryl Cole has 1,698,477 friends.  Mind you, Paul Macartney only has 11!

So I’ll be staying on Facebook but I won’t be participating in it.  I think it should have a big warning flash up on the screen every time you log in: “GET A LIFE”

Who Will Stand Up For Justice?

with one comment

The CPS are dithering over the police murder at the G20 protest.   Just like the assault on Nicola Fisher, we all saw on television the attack on Ian Tomlinson which led directly to his death.   The delay in bringing charges in this matter is outrageous and already amounts to a miscarriage of justice.  Justice delayed is justice denied.

Keir Starmer, the Director of Public Prosecutions says he is working as quickly as he can on a careful investigation in “this difficult and complex case”.  See the full story here.

This is rubbish.  It is a pathetic excuse and I simply don’t believe him when he says he is having difficulty getting medical evidence.  Proceed without it!  The evidence is clear enough.  If the accused was anyone other than a police officer he would already be behind bars.

With the Smellie acquittal, this perversion of justice at the DPP’s own hands and the Newsnight story yesterday that people arrested at the Gaza protest are being treated as terrorists, we have reached a new low point in our history.

Those politicians, civil servants, police and legal officers who have allowed these events to unfold are guilty of treason.  They are destroying our country and our civilisation just as much as they could with bombs and bullets.

Gordon And The Daily Mail Stand No Chance Against Joanna

Our Avenger

The appalling story of the way that this debased, corrupt and immoral government has treated the Gurkhas continues.

Another Snide, Underhand Labour Minister

A press conference was called today to refute the smears and misinformation promoted by the Home Office and the MOD.  With extraordinary timing, just minutes before the conference was due to start, three things happen:

  • Kevan Jones, Defence Minister, issues an apology
  • The Legal Services Commission publishes its report clearing the Gurkhas’ solicitors of misconduct
  • Gordon Brown frantically tries to contact Ms Lumley

Some worthless journalist at The Daily Mail is also responsible for fuelling this slander against the Gurkha heroes and their heroine, Joanna.  Anyone who has ever read any of the lies and and sensationalist nonsense published in this “newspaper” knows just how much credence to give it.

There is no further investigation needed because the stench, the foul odour, the stink coming from these events is all too familiar.  It is Gordon and his cronies at it again with their unmistakeable, unbelievable and despicable perversion of the truth.  Just how low down in the dirt can you get?

European Culture 77, English Chavs 2

It must be the first football match I’ve watched in 18 months.  I thought it was worth investing the time.  After all, it was hyped to the level where it became an event rather than just a sports occasion.  But then really, football lost all that years ago. When the various mafiosi, the agents, the primadonnas and the gross, obscene salaries took hold, football lost Ronaldioeverything it ever had of value.

So, hilariously, ITV’s HD coverage stepped into the rhythm, just four minutes before half time and cut, bizarrely, to shots of bleach blonde, just-retired footballers in the usual badly fitting suits, adjusting their lunchboxes and utterly tasteless ties, commentators preparing for their imminent incisive anlayses, wiping away the smears of mayonnaise and more exotic “amuse  bouche”  from their lips.

Perfectly appropriate, I thought!

What happened to Roy Of The Rovers and football as a role model?  These spoilt, vastly over paid, perversions of sporting talent, ill mannered, conceited, ignorant individuals.  They are porn stars and nothing more.  They don’t even deliver.  Give me a third rate club rugby player, or a rower, a cyclist, a swimmer.  Why is the world infected with this football virus?

The beautiful game?  In the eye of the beholder without lager, violence, chav celebrity culture, we can do much. much better than this!

Truth is, 10 minutes into the second half, I turned over to watch “The Apprentice”.soccer
