For A Bad Cop, Prison Is Just The Start

Doing His Duty

I hope that  ex-Police Sergeant Mark Andrews had a really bad night on Tuesday.   It was his first night in jail after being sentenced to six months for assaulting Pamela Somerville, an innocent member of the public, someone he was paid and trusted to protect.  See here for the full story.

I hope he had a really bad day yesterday too.  I hope he’s scared.  I hope he’s ashamed and racked with guilt.  I hope he has a really bad day tomorrow and the day after and the day after that.  I hope every single minute of his jail time is frightening, distressing, humiliating and painful.  I hope he misses his wife and two children and is beside himself with grief and shame at the way he has let them down.  The man is pond life scum.  He should be extremely grateful that he got off so lightly because if I was the judge I would have considered six years to be a more appropriate sentence than six months.   In fact,  I really hope that the CPS appeals the sentence.  There’s no way that it is sufficient.  He’ll  be out in just 13 weeks and free to go back to his family.   He should be made to suffer.

When a police officer commits a crime, particularly an assault while on duty, it is far, far more serious than when it is an ordinary member of the public.  It is a breach of trust.   It is like a bank manager stealing from his own bank.  It can never be forgiven.  It has to be marked as the most heinous of crimes.

Sleazy Starmer

I suppose we have to be thankful that the CPS even brought charges in the first place.  It and its thoroughly sleazy boss, Keir Starmer, seem to do everything they can to avoid bringing police officers to justice.   Keir Starmer has the brazen cheek to pontificate about changing the system of murder charges when he is complicit in enabling police officers to avoid justice!  See here.   We’re really not interested in his thoughts about the future of justice in Britain.  He is too deeply ensconsed in the corruption and failures of the past.  We want him out of his job and on the scrapheap with Andrews.    In fact,  I’d have him in the cell next door to Andrews and I’d put them both back on slopping out but they could do each other’s rather than their own.

I congratulate Wiltshire Constabulary on bringing Andrews to justice and particularly the police officer who turned him in.  That man deserves a medal.

Killer

Thug

This should send a signal to thugs like Delroy Smellie, Simon Harwood and every other bent cop that you will never, ever get away with your behaviour.  Even if you manage to wriggle free like Smellie with the assistance of slimeball judges or evade the full force of the law like Harwood with the help of his crony Starmer, we, the British public, will never let you off.   It won’t ever be over for you, whether or not you do time in prison.  You and your kind are on a life sentence.  You will be despised, reviled, hated and subject to ridicule and abuse until the end of your days.  You deserve nothing less.

Child Abuse, Bombing – All In A Day’s Work For Catholic Priests

Devil Incarnate

Are we seriously going to welcome the Pope to our shores next month, the personification of an institution that has been responsible for appalling evil throughout the last 2000 years?

The monstrous scandal of child abuse by priests and nuns continues and so does the Church’s shameful attempts to cover it up.  Today we learn that Father James Chesney was an active IRA bomber.   See here.  There should be no more allowances made.  The cult of Catholicism is evil and beneath contempt.

Terrorist In A Dog Collar

The Catholic Church is an out of date, irredeemable hotbed of wickedness, sin and shame.   It is all to do with the greed and venality of man, disguised in a power mad, money making machine that has no integrity or worth at all.  It has nothing to do with God whatsoever.  It looks more like the devil to me.

We should deny the Pope entry to Britain and proscribe his church from any privileges accorded to charities or religious bodies.  It has proved itself time and time again to be guilty of the worst possible crimes.  Enough is enough.

“Too many have died in the name of Christ for anyone to heed the call”

These are the immortal words of Crosby Stills & Nash.  Substitute “Christ” with any deity you care to mention.

Pakistan. The Uncomfortable Truth

with 5 comments

This may be a very uncomfortable truth but I think the world has made its moral judgement on Pakistan.  In a sense it is wonderful that the world has a collective moral conscience but it is a tragedy for the innocent Pakistanis.

Disaster

The professional aid givers, campaigners and do gooders will do their best but the simple truth is that there is a complete inertia, an ambivalence about Pakistan because of the treason that it has committed against the human race.  Sympathy for individual suffering will continue but Pakistan is reaping what it has sown.

This may lead to even bigger problems.  There are thousands yet to die as a result of the floods.  Extremist Islamists, as the psychopaths that they are, will seek to exploit this and they may succeed.  Nevertheless, it will not alter, in fact it will probably reinforce the world’s antipathy for Pakistan.

As in all such crises what is needed is leadership.  Obama emerged from nowhere to rescue America from its descent into shame.  Let us pray that a real leader comes forward for Pakistan.

Just An Evil Old Man

What more shame and ignominy can the Catholic Church bring upon itself?  Now it seems that the present Pope is guilty of overlooking what seems to be the favourite hobby of Catholic priests – the sexual abuse of children.

According to The Times last Saturday, in 1980 the then Cardinal Ratzinger approved a decision to send a priest for therapy in Munich after he forced an 11 year old boy to perform oral sex on him.  Later the same priest abused more children and the only answer the Cardinal and his cronies could come up with was to relocate him.  Now the Church is desperately trying to disassociate the Pope from this scandal, saying that he had left decisions to lower-level officials.  See here for the full story.

The Catholic Church has been responsible for as much evil in the world as any other institution.  Now we see that it goes to the very top and continues.

Too many have died in the name of Christ for anyone to heed the call.

Crosby, Stills & Nash

It is time that this outdated institution was outlawed.  Criminal charges should be brought against the Pope and all the cardinals, priests and other apologists for sin and wickedness.  How can we in the West complain about the evil influence of Islam until we put our own house in order?

Village Idiots Or Village Idiocy?

leave a comment »

We are very fortunate in Great Britain to have clearly defined borders.  Our status as an island has enabled us to avoid much of the evil and wickedness that has plagued continental Europe.  Throughout history neighbour has turned upon neighbour and viciousness and persecution have been rife.  Hitler did not start the persecution of the Jews.  Particularly in France and the low countries, they were persecuted across the centuries. Between Poland and Romania there is an enmity that defies belief.

Much that is great in Britain has evolved from our island culture but we have not escaped the darker side of human nature.  Much that is worst in Britain can be seen in the petty jealousies and behaviours of village life.  Just as insidious and cruel as the persecution of the Jews is the way that gossip, resistance to change and selfishness runs deep in British village life.

You Know Who You Are!

You Know Who You Are!

They nearly always start with “I’ve lived in the village for more than X years…”.  X needs to be at least 20 and for real seniority you need to be able to boast of 30 or 40 years residency.  Then, according to this idiotic doctrine, you have some sort of right to impose your view of the world on your neighbours.  Just because you were there first?

It is to the eternal shame of rural villagers in Britain that the Vestas wind turbine factory on the Isle Of Wight is to close.  There is simply no market for onshore wind turbines in Britain because the “NIMBYs” (Not In My Back Yard) object at every stage and shove the problem of energy and ecology onto someone else.

I won’t be actively campaigning for, say, 10 wind turbines along the top of White Horse Hill but what right would any of us have to object?  If you want to switch your kettle on or watch TV or enjoy a hot bath in the depths of winter, you need to be prepared to compromise, particularly if you want your grandchildren to enjoy a future on this planet.  In any case, wind turbines have a beauty and elegance of their own.  Look at the way that we now revere some of the great aqueducts built in the 19th century – before the days when the small minded, selfish, blue rinse brigade were able to resist any and all change.

It’s not just about planning and environment though.  It’s a more general problem about attitudes towards others and our own selfishness.  Gossip, whinging and a failure to welcome and include others and the change that they bring are the symptoms of this British disease.  So next time you hear them start with “I’ve lived in the village for more than 40 years”, be careful.  The chances are that what comes next is going to be selfish, small minded rubbish.

The Plague Is In Both Your Houses

I believe in the media.  I think it’s a power for good.  OK, so The Daily Telegraph has turned into The News Of The World and there is much else that is crass and false and wrong but it is the media that reveals truth and brings about change.

There can be no option now but jail for some MPs, dismissal for some, resignation for many and shame for most.  Those dishonest and corrupt members of the House Of Lords deserve even worse.   I also wrote much the same a few weeks ago about the police after the disgrace of the G20 murder and assaults – and what has happened?  Nothing!  For anyone else charges would already have been brought.  Undoubtedly the violent policemen are free on bail and strings are being pulled to breaking point to keep them free.

Well let them break.  We all saw it with our own eyes as we have seen the crimes of our politicians.  We need no more prevarication.

This is the power of the media and I look forward to the day when we see these politicians, policemen and, yes, the bankers too, chained together as they are led into jail.

Disgraceful Betrayal Of Gurkha Heroes

leave a comment »

What shambolic, cowardly, civil servant-jobsworth, treacherous nonsense has come out of the Home Office today?

See here for the full story.gurkha

The disgusting conduct of Jacqui Smith’s department shames Britain and everyone of us who enjoys freedom won at the cost of Gurkha lives.  While she fritters away her expenses and her downtrodden, frustrated husband amuses himself with porn (who can blame him?), these brave, honourable men who have already won their case in the High Court have been knocked back again after months of unnecessary delay.

Not only is the decision itself a disgrace but the way it has been handled is an example of the very worst of Britain.  What are these fools in government up to?  They really have lost touch with the people and with reality.  Gordon’s YouTube cock-up on expenses – can you think of a more stupid idea? A budget based on fantasy, delusion and deceit.  Crass stupidity is too generous a description.  Gordon, Jacqui, Alistair, you are a laughing stock!  You have demonstrated your incompetence and lack of integrity again and again and again.  Please just go!
